James C. Isaac, Director and Producer

A television veteran, Isaac has worked in film and video production for more than 23 years. He began his career as assistant film editor in New York for NBC-TV news and ABC-TVs Wide World of Sports and the American Sportsman shows. He went on to become a videotape editor at Cinevid and NEP, two top post production companies in New York. As an independent, he produced and edited “Musica,” a 60-minute documentary on the merger of Latin and jazz music which was nationally broadcast on PBS. Isaac returned to his roots in the south to become Public Affairs Producer for “Awareness,” a 30-minute weekly variety/talk show that aired on WIS-TV in Columbia, SC, where he also directed the morning news. Isaac received his initial training and education in film production and editing at Third World Cinema, New York.
